For my VIS 207 (Introduction to Graphic Design) class at Syracuse University, we had an assignment proposition of creating a carousel post for Instagram that shared the story about an event of our choice.
I created this carousel for a mock cat adoption event that would be held at Luna Cat Café, a Japanese restaurant that also has cats up for adoption in the Syracuse area.
Using principles of continuity through a fun design in which a cat is playing with a ball of yarn and animation of said ball, I was able to highlight why adopting a cat is beneficial, talk about Luna Cat Café and invite the audience to come join the event and get their purrrfect friend!!
Carousel design was done on Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Express and Instagram layout and scrolling ability done on Figma.
